WWE legends such as The Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H, The Rock, and others have fallen short next to Brock Lesnar. It’s not a new thing that you don’t want to poke ‘The Conqueror’ because the wrath welcomes you into the Suplex City.

However, the current WWE United States Champion, Theory, has a different opinion on facing Lesnar altogether. Theory is the youngest United States Champion in WWE history, just like Brock Lesnar was the youngest WWE Champion in 2002.

WWE left no stones unturned to put Theory in a match against Brock Lesnar!

Ryan Satin recently invited Austin Theory (now Theory) on the latest Out of Character podcast. The host asked Theory what it was like to be inside the ring with an unleashed beast, Lesnar.

Before ‘The Stupendous’ WrestleMania 38, Theory battled Lesnar at Madison Square Garden. Unfortunately, Vince McMahon’s protégé, Theory, was unaware of the booking until the last minute when he was thrown for ‘The Beast’ to feast on him.

“At the very top, it has ‘WWE Championship Main Event: Brock Lesnar vs.,’ and it’s just blank. So I’m just standing there, and I’m like, ‘Man, why do they gotta do this?’ I’m the only one whose name isn’t on this list, and I had to be here. And I’m the only one in this locker room that doesn’t have a match,” Mr. McMahon’s protégé said.

The rising star of WWE recollected when the first time he shared the squared circle with ‘The Beast’ was at the Elimination Chamber premium live event this year. When Theory walked into the WWE locker room during the MSG show, he saw the match card.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ left quite an impression on the youngest WWE United States Champion

The WWE United States Champion’s name was not written anywhere on the MSG show. However, a slot was opened next to Brock Lesnar’s name. This was the moment when Theory knew he was going to face ‘The Beast Incarnate’ of WWE.

The thought of being in the ring with ‘The Beast’ sends shivers down your spine. But Theory was poised as an ocean and gulped down his fear to battle Brock Lesnar.

He added, “That night was great, man. The match was quick, but it was great. That experience alone, and also, not only with Brock but with Paul Heyman. It was a great and awesome moment. I can always say I main evented MSG with Brock Lesnar for the WWE title.”

Austin Theory is forever grateful that he faced ‘The Beast’ for the WWE World Championship title at MSG. It looks like Theory will follow in Brock Lesnar’s footsteps to achieve impressive accomplishments in the WWE. Even ‘The Big Man’ Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38 referred to Theory as the future WWE World Champion.
