The epic brother-son rivalry is ready to take up the WWE world once again at WrestleMania 40 but this time not via a single contest. It seems Rey Mysterio isn’t yet done taming his son’s low-bred attitude during last year’s Shows of the Immortal and was looking for another opportunity to teach him further lessons.

After DomDom cost him a match against Santos Escober on SmackDown last week, Mysterio issued a challenge to face off both of his arch-nemesis at WrestleMania next weekend. When he turned to the newest LWO member, Dragon Lee, to assist him in the fight, fans came up with a better alternative on social media. And the alternative in question is none other than Mysterio’s last year, WrestleMania game-changer Bad Bunny.

Santos alongside Elektra Lopez Berto, & Angel paid gratitude to Dominik Mysterio for helping him pick up a victory against the Master of 619 last Friday on SmackDown. In response, Dominik promised to keep on getting on the nerves of his deadbeat dad and make his life a hell. It prompted the father Mysterio to come out with the LWO boys (Carlito, Zelina Vega, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) by his side to even the score. He called both of them out for a tag team match at WrestleMania 40. Shortly after, the Luchador officially welcomed Lee into LWO as the newest member and assigned him the role of his partner in the tag team feud against his son and Escobar.

Despite Lee’s well-documented history with Dominik Mysterio in NXT, fans could only think of the celebrity wrestler’s wise display of skill and loyalty toward Mysterio during WrestleMania 39 and want to have a taste of that again.

Fans badly want the Rey-Mysterio-Bad Bunny pair back in WrestleMania 40

Bad Bunny has been an occasional presence in the realm of wrestling for over two years now, but he’s incredible in all senses, even in the limited exposure. Through his fine-tuned star power and talent, the Grammy winner rapper managed to get etch his name in the WWE world pretty quickly. After he earned his spurs in WrestleMania 39, WWE higher-ups couldn’t escape taking notice of him to ensure inflated viewership. Besides being on Triple H’ and Mysterio’s good book, for obvious reasons, the singer-wrestler became a fan favorite to the point of making them crave him in next year’s Mania as well.

They automatically thought of Bad Bunny when Mysterio announced his WrestleMania role.

They feel like Lee wasn’t the original choice of WWE to be handed with the spot.
