The sinister leader of the Wyatt Sicks, Uncle Howdy, marked his return tonight on Monday Night RAW. And his first victim? Chad Gable. In one of the camera shots, viewers could see the leader of the Alpha Academy knocked out because of what appears to be a gunshot wound. It was a gory scene with blood gushing out of his head. But there’s more.

Fans surely took it seriously, as there were similar updates on Gable’s Wikipedia page after the show announced he was dead. The wrestling faithful resorted to familiar territory as they engaged with the notion in jest.

The WWE Universe loves to play pretend. But this time, fans decided they’d try to bring Kayfabe back into the tech era as well, after the latest segment featuring Uncle Howdy and Chad Gable. Gable was not actually killed by the sinister being. But it was all a move made by the fans. So, what really happened?

While many would expect it to have an extra line or two about being attacked by Uncle Howdy, things took an unexpected turn as he was announced dead instead. As his new Wikipedia read,

“Charles Edward Betts (born March 8, 1986) (died June 17, 2024),” and the reason behind his death was written as, “He unfortunately died by gunshot wound, he was killed by a member of the Wyatt 6, most likely Uncle Howdy.”

Now, isn’t that sweet? Although neither WWE release an official statement nor Gable publicly addressing about what transpired, concerned fans took the time to update Gable’s Wikipedia for him. However, we are sad to break the rules of kayfabe by announcing that Gable indeed isn’t dead. And it was most likely not a gunshot wound but an injury caused by being hit. As for his Wikipedia, there has been an update.

It is back to normal with the correct information that he is alive. So Gable should be returning to WWE programming soon enough, especially when he has his own set of goals to achieve.

Chad Gable has embraced a new leash on life in recent times as he showed signs of grey in a world of black and white. The Raw star had outlined his frustrations at his failures after failing to win the WWE Intercontinental championship as a babyface at the hands of Braun Strowman. This led Gable to display heel tendencies as he undertook a vicious path to achieve his objectives at all costs.

In an interview with Gorilla Position, he admitted on Monday that it was his idea to turn heel. He said, “The whole idea to turn heel was kind of my idea. I felt like I flatlined as a babyface somewhere around WrestleMania. I came up short against Gunther a few times. Came up short against Sami. At a certain point, something has to change, or people are not going to buy into you any further.

I had the idea, ‘Let’s do it,’ it just so happened we were going to be in Montreal, Sami’s hometown, the week after Mania when I was having that match. I was like, ‘There could not be a better place to do this thing.’ We made it happen, and the stars aligned. I feel like it’s worked out in our favor. Since then, Otis is this perfect sympathetic guy that you can’t help buy feel bad for. We have everything in our favor working for us.”

Despite getting a taste of his own medicine, Chad Gable looks to make his dreams come alive

The Alpha Academy leader has resorted to demeaning and criticizing his subordinates as he aims to instill a new mentality to the group. His treatment of Maxxine Dupri and Otis could lead to a few twists and tales later on.

Sami Zayn too has voiced out his concerns over Gable’s demeanor and has done his part to urge the other Alpha Academy members to take a stand against their leader for the greater good. Despite suggestions that the four-time tag team champion was earmarked as the primary target for the Wyatt 6, the likelihood of the attack being an unbiased massacre of the roster as promised looks high.

Uncle Howdy’s attack targeted other superstars too such as Braun Strowman, Gunther, etc. So it looks like a premeditated attack on unsuspecting superstars rather than a targeted attack launched at a specific WWE star.

Nevertheless, one thing is for sure. Gable has to constantly check his rearview mirror to check for the wrath of the Wyatt 6 in the future but he will shine the headlights and put the pedal to the metal on gaining plaudits for himself as a priority.
