Analyzing The Rock’s wrestling skills

The Rock’s career didn’t get off to a flying start when he made his debut as Rocky Maivia. Fans didn’t accept the third-generation WWE Superstar but him joining the Nation of Domination and then growing in his element led him to get this massive fandom.

It was not only his mic skills that captivated fans, but he also had impressive wrestling skills and little nuances that were only unique to him. The exaggerated right hands, the smooth Spinebuster, Rock Bottom or the People’s Elbow, whatever The Rock did in the ring oozed brilliance.

The Rock put on classic matches throughout his career against the likes of Mankind, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Chris Jericho and more!

Another crucial aspect of a performer’s in-ring work is the authenticity of their selling. What do we say about The Rock? Is there anyone on this planet that can sell the Stone Cold Stunner or even a clothesline from CM Punk like The Rock does? In fact, Rock can even sell a Cobra from Santino Marella convincingly!

The Rock undoubtedly ticks all the boxes of being an extraordinary worker inside the ring. In fact, we all know the battles The Rock has put on against Triple H. All of this happened with just months of wrestling training and a dedication to excel.

Now let’s analyze Triple H!

Triple H’s wrestling start was pretty Terraryzing (you’re a true fan if you get this), but the man had the attention of Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash for his in-ring work. Eventually, ‘The Game’ came over to WWE, and the rest is history.

Just like The Rock, HHH has also had a decorated wrestling career. He is a 14-time World Champion and has put on some of the most brutal matches in WWE history.

‘The Game’ is no rookie at cutting promos and is equally good at portraying both heel and face character. The terrific battles with The Rock, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Randy Orton are just a few examples of what Triple H brings to the table.

From the vicious high knee to the nerve wrecking spinebuster and Pedigree – Triple H has an arsenal of moves at his disposal. If you add the Sledgehammer that is synonymous with the name of ‘The Game,’ Triple H becomes an invincible performer.

Both men have worked matches even after suffering injuries; such is the dedication of two of sports entertainments legends.

The impact of these two men on the professional wrestling sport is immense, and it will continue to be for the years to come. Comparing these great icons is one thing, but picking a better between the two is really tough and wouldn’t be the best thing to do.
