The Men’s Royal Rumble was the main event of the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. 29 men entered and tried to outlast the others, but Brock Lesnar came in at 30 and poured water on their dreams.

Besides ‘The Beast’s win, the Men’s Royal Rumble had some special moments to watch out for. Here’s a look back at some of them.
AJ Styles eliminated 6 men
The 2022 Royal Rumble match started with AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. They battled and then contended with the other superstars that made their way into the match.

Later, AJ Styles eliminated Nakamura and lasted for almost half an hour before Madcap Moss ended his Rumble. The Phenomenal One eliminated six superstars, i.e. Nakamura, Austin Theory, Sami Zayn, Robert Roode, Ridge Holland, and Omos.

Johnny Knoxville got hit by everyone
Jackass Johnny made his entrance at No. 9 with an aim of winning the Royal Rumble. However, fans witnessed Johnny Knoxville get a brutal beat down from everyone in the ring.

AJ Styles, Montez Ford, and Sami Zayn got their hands on Knoxville and punished him. Also, Knoxville got a Frog Splash from Montez Ford. In the end, Sami Zayn delivered a Helluva Kick to eliminate the actor.

6 men teamed up to eliminate Omos
Omos entered at No. 8 and eliminated 3 men (Montez Ford, Damian Preist, and Angelo Dawkins). The behemoth was unstoppable until Chad Gable and five men (AJ Styles, Austin Theory, Ridge Holland, Ricochet, and Dominik Mysterio) teamed up to deal with him. The six men tried to throw him over and received a boost when AJ Styles hit his former tag team partner with a running elbow strike.
Bad Bunny hit a Canadian Destroyer on Riddle
In the 2022 Royal Rumble, Bad Bunny made a surprise entrance at No. 27. During his time in the ring, the Grammy Winner made some notable eliminations. He eliminated Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler.

Much to the shock of the WWE Universe, Bad Bunny delivered the Canadian destroyer (one of the most dangerous moves in wrestling) to Riddle.
Other special moments in the 2022 Men’s Royal Rumble match
There were more special moments in the match. WWE Superstar Rick Boogs showed his incredible strength as he pressed Chad Gable.
Every year, we see Kofi Kingston performing his stunts to save himself from elimination. However, this time, he botched his landing and got eliminated.

The Men’s Royal Rumble was an exciting match. Fans saw some surprise returns, like Shane McMahon entering at No. 28. He eliminated Kevin Owens and threw vicious strikes on Drew McIntyre.

In the end, it was Brock Lesnar‘s night as he put behind his WWE Championship match defeat and punched his ticket to WrestleMania 38.
