WATCH: Braun Strowman Makes WWE Return at Promotional Event, Welcomed With Open Arms

On November 21st, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported that WWE superstar Braun Strowman would be traveling to India this year in December for promotional purposes. As of December 4th, Strowman has made his return, as a clip of his entry into the Sony Sports Network studio has begun circulating on Instagram.
This is not Strowman’s first visit to India as he has previously made such a tour. WWE is looking forward to developing its existing market in India. A common strategy for WWE, as they often use their superstars as assets for marketing campaigns given the fan following of performers. Since his last visit, Strowman has won one World Championship title and The Greatest Royal Rumble. So it’s safe to say his Indian fans were excited to welcome him with open arms.

Sony Sports Network posted a clip of former WWE Champion Braun Strawman on their official Instagram account on December 4th. The caption for the post read, “Look who’s here 🤩💪 The Monster of all monsters, @adamscherr99 has arrived at the #SonySportsNetwork studio 🙌” Sony Sports also tagged WWE India.

In the video, Braun Strawman can be seen arriving at the Mumbai office of Sony Sports Network. As per reports, The Monster Among Men arrived on December 4th and will be in India till December 7th. He will be visiting Mumbai and Delhi during his 4-day stay.

Previously, Strawman visited India in 2018 as well. He was a part of the roster that traveled to India for an exclusive show named WWE Sunday Dhamaal, only for viewers in India. During his last visit, he visited Mumbai after which he traveled to Hyderabad to shoot promotional material with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan.

Though WWE wrestlers are extremely busy with their tight schedules, Strowman has managed time for this as he is undergoing his rehabilitation from an injury.

Update on Braun Strowman’s health as he continues to recover
WWE superstar Braun Strowman suffered a concussion during a match on an episode of RAW in May 2023. He had to immediately undergo a neck fusion surgery and has been missing in action since then. Despite being on hiatus, he continues working for WWE in a different capacity as his recent tour to India confirms.
As for the update on his health, he is recovering well, Strowman’s former tag partner Ricochet revealed. During an interview with Count Media, he said, “He’s doing great, he needed a little surgery, but he’s doing great. He’s recuperating, he’s doing fine. I know he’s ready to get back, I can only imagine he’s ready to get back.”
