WWE SmackDown featured an interesting match, with Sasha Banks taking on Carmella’s assistant. Reginald has been a thorn in Sasha’s side since the feud started, and the Boss finally dealt with him.

One must confess that for a manager, Reginald is really athletic and can pull off some impressive moves, but on SmackDown, he was no match for the Boss.

Sasha Banks takes on Reginald on SmackDown

Reginald’s employer was at ringside to watch the action unfold. She has been wanting another shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship, but Sasha needed to deal with her assistant first.

Reginald offered Sasha a rose, and then a kiss before the match began. Sasha tried to slap him and he blocked it successfully, but he forgot about the Boss’ second hand.

After that, he put his insane acrobatics on display once again, flipping out of the ring in style. However, Sasha Banks was quick to catch him with a baseball slide, which sent him into the barricade.

Reginald busted out another acrobatic move, dodging an Irish Whip into the steel steps and flipping over it. Banks went for the patented double knees, but Reginald avoided it in time. He tried to elbow Banks, but she was quick to scout his move and got out of the way.

After avoiding some offensive moves from each other, Reginald finally grabbed the slippery Banks, but she reversed it into an arm drag. She attempted a cross body, only to be caught in the waiting arms of the champagne wielding assistant, but somehow managed to reverse that into an arm drag.

The rivalry between Banks and Carmella will continue

A devastating Meteora from the apron to the floor followed, and Banks locked in the Banks Statement for the win. This was a highly entertaining and impressive performance from both Sasha Banks and Reginald. Few expected the assistant to be this fluid in the ring, and he has definitely surprised many with his performance against Banks.

With her assistant losing, fans will be interested to see how WWE carries forward the story between Sasha and Carmella. Her performance at TLC was impressive but not good enough to beat Banks.
