Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has many big projects on his hands right now. However, nothing comes closer to the magnitude of the DC superhero movie ‘Black Adam.’
The film reveals how the son of an ancient pharaoh, Teth-Adam, got a plethora of powers as a boon for his good deeds from the mighty wizard Shazam. It also chronicles how he fell into the clasp of darkness.

In the same post, Johnson gave fans an insight into his character. Many already know who Black Adam is, Rock’s introduction is undoubtedly helpful to the others.

“Blessed with the powers of Superman and dangerous magic from the wizards. Then his rage turns his soul dark, forever becoming Black Adam,” Rock concluded.
The film is a sequel and a spin-off of the DC movie “Shazam.” Black Adam and Shazam derive their power from the same ancient wizard Shazam. While the superhero saved humankind multiple times, Adam became his arch-nemesis.
However, Black Adam is not a generic DC supervillain. The comics rather portrayed him as an anti-hero who fell prey to his circumstances.
