Edge and The Miz will collide inside the squared circle at WWE Day 1 PPV. Their final face-off before the event has gotten fans excited about the highly awaited clash. On tonight’s main event of Monday Night Raw, The Miz and Maryse looked all set for their vow renewal ceremony.

The Miz even invited a WWE Hall of Famer (Eric Bischoff) to officiate his vow renewal ceremony with Maryse. However, Edge tried to spoil the vow renewal ceremony and embarrass The Miz for his actions last week.

The Rated-R-Superstar interrupted the ceremony and said, “For few weeks, you [Miz and Maryse] have embarrassed me. Last week, I saw it coming, but you still snuck through the cracks. But what goes around comes around you. So, before I beat you at Day 1, I’m going to embarrass you.”

“You don’t want this to be a white wedding, did you?” he added.

Soon after, fans saw red lighting around the entire arena. In the ring, The Miz and Maryse looked worried and did not know what was going to happen. Edge tried to play mind games and made a move as if he was going to spear The Miz, but eventually, he walked out of the ring.

No sooner than that, The Miz, Maryse, and Eric Bischoff got drenched in a bloodbath. The A-Lister will now be eager to get his revenge on Edge when they meet at the WWE Day 1 PPV.

Maryse took an ugly shot at Edge during the vow renewal

The Miz and Maryse have been involved in a feud with Edge ever since they returned to WWE Raw last month. After Maryse slapped Edge last week, she fired another shot at the Rated-R superstar during her vow renewal ceremony.

Maryse said, “You are the best father, best husband, and a better WWE superstar than Edge. And if loving you is wrong, I never wanted to be right.”
