Donald Trump is no new face to wrestling fans. The real estate mogul has been very vocal about his love for the sport, so much so that he has even been a part of WWE storylines, and his 2007 ‘Battle of the Billionaires’ feud with Vince McMahon was one of the most legendary storylines in the promotion.
So when you are a constant face in the wrestling circles, you often make some good friends. And in a recent speech, the former president mentioned two of his friends from the realm of wrestling.

Donald Trump is friends with the Brother’s of destruction
In a post that has been going viral on Twitter, former President of the United States of America Donald Trump can be seen giving a speech. In the middle of it, he decided to look for a friend of his, a WWE legend who too decided to blur the lines between politics and wrestling, Glenn Jacobs, aka Kane. Trump said, “Another man who is a friend of mine, another man I’m not gonna mess around with, he is, Knox County Tennessee. Do you know Glenn Jacobs, who goes by the name of Kane? Where is Kane?”

After finding the ‘Devil’s favorite demon’ in the audience, Donald Trump decides to have a little chat with him from the stage. “Look at the size of this guy. So how tall are you? You’re six, what? Kane answers 6’8), and weight what? (Kane answers again with 300 pounds.) That’s not bad; I’m not that far away; that’s not good; you just ruined my day, 300.”
He further mentions how he gets awed by the strength of these pro-wrestlers while mentioning the Undertaker. “All I know is, you know, I guess is a little acting involved, but when I see these guys, some of them like the Undertaker right, and I see him and he walk around the ring lifting a 300-pound guy over his shoulders like this, it may be acting, but…then he throws him into the seats; it’s pretty great, and he’s done fantastic work as a mayor.”
Well, this isn’t the first time that Trump has interacted with the realm of WWE. As mentioned earlier, he was a part of a storyline once. But did you know that he is also a Hall of Famer?

Trump and his past with the WWE
Donald Trump has had a long-standing relationship with the biggest promotion in the world. Trump was a part of WrestleMania 23 back in 2007 when he faced Vince McMahon in what was termed “The Battle of the Billionaires.” And Trump actually ended up winning the match, and, as per the stipulation, Bobby Lashley shaved McMahon’s head.
However, this was the only match Trump participated in, but he did find some good friends in Ted DiBiase, Kevin Nash, and Jerry Lawler, who later became his faithful supporters. And friends weren’t the only thing he gained from pro-wrestling, as he was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
