WATCH: Hulk Hogan’s Fan Cuts an Epic Promo on Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt

Hulk Hogan may have retired from active competition a long time back, but his influence still “runs wild.” In a recent tweet, Hogan shared a video of a young fan who channeled his inner Hogan and challenged the top stars in WWE.

Th wrestling world considers Hogan as the first mega “face” of WWE. His influence was so vast that even after years of his in-ring retirement, people still remember him. Even kids who have never seen him wrestle repeat his catchphrases like Kindergarten verses.

The tiny one called Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Bray Wyatt incompetent. He said, “If you guys can’t step up, I’ll come on and steal that championship from you.” The championship in question is the WWE Universal Championship.

However, this guy will have to wait for his shot as the champ Roman Reigns will face his cousin Jey Uso to defend his title at WWE Clash of Champions 2020.

Why did Hulk Hogan leave WWE?

Hogan was a prolific part of WWF/E. However, he left the company for WCW, helping the latter establish its dominance. In fact, Hogan is one of the few wrestlers who have enjoyed success in every company they’ve wrestled for.

Recently, WCW and WWE Legend Eric Bischoff revealed why Hogan left the company for WCW. He cited the hectic schedule and the steroid controversy as the main reasons for Hogan’s departure.

“First, he didn’t want the grind,” Bischoff said. “He left WWE when he did in large part involving the issues surrounding the steroid trial and all that controversy and then there were creative issues – the whole Ultimate Warrior thing and creative and political issues.

“But I think the primary thing that caused Hulk to leave was the schedule. He wanted to pursue movies and television. And you can do neither while you’re working the kind of schedule Hulk worked in WWE, and he didn’t want to end up in the same type of schedule in WCW,” Bischoff concluded.

Despite this major dispute, WWE and Hogan have since buried the hatchet. Moreover, Hulk Hogan became a two-time Hall of Famer in WWE.

He also makes special appearances for the company. His last appearance was last year when he and Ric Flair led their teams into Crown Jewel, with the former gaining a huge victory.
