John Cena has stayed in the wrestling business long enough to see one of his well-recognized catchphrases become a popular meme. One of the longest-running jokes on the internet is surrounding John Cena’s five-knuckle shuffle where he utters the catchphrase, “you can’t see me”. All the fans across the globe have taken this joke far, and now, even Jake Paul can’t seem to let it go.

Recently, Cena was found hanging out with Logan Paul when the two of them sat down for a new episode of Impaulsive. Around the same time, John Cena also visited Jake Paul while the latter was practicing his boxing skills. Jake was impressed to feel the presence of the WWE legend, but couldn’t see him.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was recently visited by the Hollywood superstar in his training area. The latter was also accompanied by Logan Paul. However, upon his arrival, John Cena was greeted rather strangely. While the wrestler was standing in the middle of the open area, Jake Paul walked right past him, without even taking a glance.

Paul shared the clip on his social media where we can see “The Cenation Leader” visiting Jake Paul along with his brother. The boxer is excited to meet John Cena for obvious reasons but he is not able to ‘see’ the wrestler.

In the clip, we can see Jake Paul excitedly walking toward where Cena is standing, only to walk right past him, extend his arm into thin air, and say, “John, bro, what’s up, man? Dude, I’m a huge fan.” To carry the joke forward, the 16-time WWE Champion stands beside Jake Paul and replies, “Nope. No, man it’s a pleasure to meet you.

This was a subtle nod to the popular ‘You can’t see me’ meme that fans have kept alive even after all these years.

Although Sean was a music critic, he instantly liked ‘The Time is Now’ and repeated a gesture that Tony Yayo did in one of the G-Unit videos. “It was like he put his hand over his head and just kind of bobbed his head like that,explained Cena. After his younger brother dared him to repeat that on TV, Cena accepted the challenge, giving birth to the iconic catchphrase and gesture that was kept alive as a joke by a generational audience.
