WATCH: Randy Orton Drops SmackDown GM With a RKO Moments After Losing Free-Agent Status

This week on Friday Night show, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Raw General Manager Adam Pierce went to war in order to acquire Randy Orton. In the last segment of the show, Orton made his choice. He chose SmackDown as he would then get the opportunity for revenge on Bloodline for putting him on the shelf for 18 months.

Aldis was happy and relieved that ‘The Apex Predator’ chose SmackDown over Raw, but by the time SmackDown went off the air, the happiness from his face vanished and it was turned to pain and misery, courtesy of an RKO by Orton.

The main event segment of the match saw Aldis and Pierce trying to coerce Orton to join their respective brands. Just as Orton was deciding, Paul Heyman came out, along with Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa, to launch an attack on Orton. Luckily, LA Knight came out to help Orton, and they fought off The Bloodline.

If there had been any doubt, this segment cleared it as ‘The Viper’ decided that he wanted to deal with The Bloodline business. Seconds before SmackDown went off air, a happy Aldis made his way to the ring, to celebrate with Orton. Unfortunately, he became a victim of an RKO, just moments after Orton lost his free agent status.

So, Orton is a SmackDown star now and has his sights set on The Bloodline and especially Roman Reigns. The WWE Undisputed Universal Champion was last appearance came at Crown Jewel. In two weeks, he is returing to the show, so does that mean will Orton confront his nemesis?

Being the topmost valuable star of the promotion, Reigns has the lesiure to come and go wherever and whenever he wants. ‘The Tribal Cheif’ has decided that he will grace the SmackDown ring in two weeks on December 15 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

Since Orton is a SmackDown star now, the fans will be seeing more of him on the blue brand on a weekly basis. This brings us to the question, will he confront Reigns on his SmackDown appearance. Reigns is the primary reason why he had to spend 18-months ij biatus tending to his back injury.
