At last week’s SmackDown, Dragon Lee let himself be inserted into the affairs of Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar, replacing an injured Carlito for the big Survivor Series match against the fellow WWE star.
However, he couldn’t succeed in teaching a lesson to Escobar for betraying Mysterio with his opponent hitting the Phantom Driver for the win. But, now, coming back to the weekly TV on SmackDown 1/12, Lee made Escobar pay.

However, Escober continues throwing shades at Rey Mysterio calling out the veteran loud, during a recent interview.
Santos Escober explained the reason behind his recent animosity with Rey Mysterio
The bad blood between the Luchador and The Emperor of Lucha Libre is still very much in the play. At a recent episode of SmackDown, Escober shockingly vented out his frustration of not getting the shot at Mysterio’s US Championship title. He left the Master of 619 injured so badly that he had to undergo knee surgery afterward.
But it seems like the LWO member still isn’t done laying waste on the veteran.
During a recent interview with The Bump, Escobar clarified that he has zero respect for Mysterio. Justifying his stance, the 39-year-old further noted that Mysterio has a toxic pattern of sabotaging his future replacement in the company be it himself or Dominik Mysterio.
Escober also believes Dragon Lee will be next on the list.
