During the show, Hart asked Flair about The Rock. “He’s the real deal,” said Flair. Hart asked the Nature Boy if The Rock clashed with him during his prime, to which he replied, “They would’ve had to build new arenas.”

Kevin then asked Flair if The Rock had the one quality that he possessed that made him one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

“When I see him, I just, you know he’s so damn entertaining. He’s got skills; he can sing, he can play instruments, but I didn’t have that. I had that energy.”

Hart interrupted him to declare that the Rock took the simple way to the top while Flair had to work harder. He even went as far as to call Johnson’s skills as ‘that stupid little sh*t’.

The first time Ric Flair and the Rock crossed paths was on July 29th, 2002. Rock and Flair clashed in a one-on-one match in the main event of RAW.

This was one of the Rock’s last grand matches before losing to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and taking a break from wrestling. The Great One pinned Flair with the Rock Bottom but not before the Nature Boy tortured him with the Figure Four.
