Ric Flair is probably the greatest wrestler to walk the Earth. The sixteen-time World Champion has amassed a celebrity status in the world for being “the Rolex wearin’, diamond ring wearin’, kiss stealin’, wheelin’ dealin’, Limousine ridin’, jet flyin’ son of a gun.” Flair appeared on comedian Kevin Hart’s show Cold as Balls to talk about his wrestling career.

Every fan of mainstream Hollywood movies knows that Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson share a special camaraderie. They have starred together in many blockbusters like Central Intelligence, Hobbs and Shaw, and the Jumanji movies. Hart and Johnson are also very close friends with the duo often calling each other as their best friend.

During the show, Hart asked Flair about The Rock. “He’s the real deal,” said Flair. Hart asked the Nature Boy if The Rock clashed with him during his prime, to which he replied, “They would’ve had to build new arenas.”

Kevin then asked Flair if The Rock had the one quality that he possessed that made him one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

“When I see him, I just, you know he’s so damn entertaining. He’s got skills; he can sing, he can play instruments, but I didn’t have that. I had that energy.”

Hart interrupted him to declare that the Rock took the simple way to the top while Flair had to work harder. He even went as far as to call Johnson’s skills as ‘that stupid little sh*t’.

Flair and The Rock have crossed paths in WWE

The Rock and Ric Flair were the best trash talkers of their generations. They are two icons that defined the world of professional wrestling at two very different times.

Flair and the Rock were the best at what they did, and the ability they possessed to keep on improving is just incredible. They are also two of the only legends to have such incredible careers after branching out into various fields.

The first time Ric Flair and the Rock crossed paths was on July 29th, 2002. Rock and Flair clashed in a one-on-one match in the main event of RAW.

This was one of the Rock’s last grand matches before losing to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and taking a break from wrestling. The Great One pinned Flair with the Rock Bottom but not before the Nature Boy tortured him with the Figure Four.

Flair crossed paths with The Rock once again in 2004. This time, the Nature Boy was part of the dominant stable called Evolution alongside Triple H and two young wrestlers, Randy Orton and Batista.
