On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso faced Sheamus and King Corbin in a Samoan Street Fight. However, at one point, the WWE Universal Champion was the last man standing and how!

The Big Dog shoved Corbin to the metal end of the ring, who went down like a melting candle. On the other hand, Sheamus had just been able to get up on his feet. Reigns, quite infuriated at this point, took him down with a massive spear.

Coming to the end of the match, Roman Reigns was not at all comfortable with Jey Uso scoring the pinfall. Nevertheless, the cousins celebrated their victory in the ring with a hug.

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso prepare to battle

This match was set prior to the match between the cousins themselves. There’s a match that is going to be set in motion at the upcoming WWE Clash of Champions. The Big Dog will be battling his cousin while defending the WWE Universal Championship title.

Now that the two have teamed up to win the Samoan Street Fight match, it seems unrealistic to pitch Roman Reigns against Jey Uso at Clash of Champions. Nevertheless, the match continues to be on the schedule.

In spite of that, let’s consider this – Reigns and Uso both belong to the same lineage. In their culture, family comes above everything. The Rock, who shares a similar background, has often spoken up about how family comes first. Hence, attacking his own blood would be antithetical to Reigns’ values.

However, attacking Uso for the would ensure that Roman Reigns stays true to his heel character. On top of that, it is well known that WWE does not back out of a good storyline.
