Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion, ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey loves having animals near her. Rousey even has a farm where she has cows, pigs, and all kinds of farm animals. However, Rousey is a crazy dog lover as well. Recently, the former champion revealed how her dog Chunk tried to ‘rescue’ her.

Rousey took to her Instagram handle and uploaded a video where her dog Chunk stopped her training in order to ‘rescue’ her. In the video, Rousey was training for her Royal Rumble appearance. Naturally, she was practicing some wrestling moves with her sparring partner. However, her dog, Chunk, thought that she was in trouble and interfered in her training.

In the video, one can see how her dog was first standing at the ringside. However, when Rousey was applying a submission maneuver, the dog entered the ring. Rousey wrote it in the caption that her dog had the best of intentions.

“Chunk with the run in Been holding onto this for months – but while training for the Royal Rumble #ChunkTheBoerboel thought I was being attacked and came to intervene- his execution wasn’t the best but his intentions were good thankfully no animals or people were injured lol,” she wrote.

It looks like Rousey had an intense training session before Royal Rumble premium live event. Ronda made her surprising return at the event and eventually won her first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match when she eliminated Charlotte Flair.

Since then, Charlotte and Ronda have been at each other’s throats.

Rousey and Flair are arguably two of the best female in-ring performers in the industry. However, this time around, ‘The Queen‘ Charlotte Flair has been unstoppable in her current reign as the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella confessed the match between Ronda and Charlotte is perhaps bigger than the match between Reigns and Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.

Appearing at the WWE’s The Bump, Bella said, “I think we might see blood, or people getting involved. I just think it’s going to be very aggressive. I don’t think Roman Reigns can touch the match that they’re going to give us,”
