There’s a good reason why Bill Goldberg is considered as one of the most dangerous and violent Superstars that have walked the wrestling ring.
One evidence to prove the same is WCW Monday Nitro’s July 6, 1998 episode. In this episode, Goldberg faced Scott Hall prior to facing Hollywood Hogan for the title.
During his match with Scott Hall, Goldberg proved why he holds the reputation of being reckless. He picked up Hall and threw him halfway across the ring. Next, he dove into Hall with the spear even before he could recover. This took him down hard.

Finally, Goldberg used a brutal jackhammer on Scott Hall to gain the pinfall victory.
Goldberg blamed Scott Hall for the injury he suffered
The year following this in 1999, Goldberg hurt his hand by smashing it through a limousine window. He bled profusely and came considerably close to having his arm amputated.
During an interview with The Post & Courier, he blamed the entire incident on Scott Hall and talked about how much Hall frustrated him.

“Scott Hall is very unprofessional, and he often breaks character and does things I don’t agree with. I try to be professional and set a positive example, but unfortunately he doesn’t share the same views. Vince Russo couldn’t control him and we had an issue, and instead of being unprofessional and making him pay, I took my frustrations out on that limousine.”
The duo finally made amends
In 2014, the duo put their rivalry and dislike behind. This incident happened at Tucson, Arizona.
A fan tried to reignite the flame by calling out Goldberg on Twitter, claiming he was trying to butter up Scott Hall. While Goldberg was violent with his response, Hall took the more mellow approach to put an end to the situation.

“Yeah I saw that coward @Goldberg trying to suck up to you after all that s–t he talked about you. What a b—h,” the fan said.
“As opposed to killing the son of a b—h I figured I’d be the bigger man. How about you fukehead!”
