4-time WWE World Champion Seth Rollins made his main roster debut at Survivor Series 2012 as a heel (bad guy) character alongside Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose). As members of ‘The Shield’, the trio soon became a legendary WWE faction until they parted ways for their respective wrestling careers.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins and the other two members of The Shield used to enter the arena in all-black wrestling gear, which included a tactical vest and gloves. This inspired many individuals all over the world and continues to do so.

Recently, Canadian pop singer The Weeknd channeled his inner fascination with The Shield’s attire at the 2022 Coachella Music Festival this past weekend.

The ‘Blinding Lights’ pop singer was dressed in an all-black tactical vest and gloves gear as he looked like the fourth member of The Shield.

Who wore it better? Seth Rollins or The Weeknd?

WWE fans couldn’t help but notice that the outfit worn by The Weeknd was similar to the Shield’s outfits. They took to the internet to share their emotions about Weeknd imitating Rollins and the other two members of The Shield.

As of now, The Shield is a scattered group. All three members of the trio are making their names prominent in the wrestling industry.

While Roman Reigns is the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, Seth “Freakin” Rollins is involved in a feud against ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes.

Away from WWE, Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley) is at the stratosphere of pro wrestling in rival company AEW.

At the Premium Live Event Royal Rumble 2022, Seth Rollins donned his Shield gear for his Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns. This was a little nostalgia trip to The Shield storyline; however, that was short-lived when ‘The Tribal Chief’ defeated ‘The Visionary’.

Rollins, during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, also teased Weeknd’s attire at the Coachella Music Festival. ‘The Visionary’ said, “Twitter is a wild place. Who is The Weeknd?” 

Who knows, someday the Canadian pop star might come to WWE and answer Rollins’ question in a form of a wrestling match!
