Rey Mysterio has finally seen his career coming full circle during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony this Friday. The 48-year-old veteran has been inducted into WWE’s HoF class of 2023 and received a standing ovation from a bunch of WWE superstars at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles. But his son Dominic Mysterio seemed not to get out of his kayfabe even during his father’s big day.

Dominik Mysterio did the unthinkable while walking out of WWE’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony

Just moments after Rey Mysterio shares a friendly banter with Kurt Angle, the three Judgment Day members including Dominic Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, and Damien Priest have been caught on camera showing utter disinterest in standing up as a gesture of paying respect to the legendary Hall of Fame inductee. As soon as Rey geared up for giving his speech, The Judgement day members did the most disrespectful act.

Dominik, with the Mami and Priest by his side, stood up and walked out of the arena. The loud boos coming from the thick crowd didn’t stop Dom from behaving in his usual heelish way. While finding his way out of the event, the junior Mysterio put an open threat to his father, saying, ” Mr. Hall of Fame! All I see is a deadbeat dad that I’m gonna beat tomorrow at WrestleMania. See you there, jefe”

The father-son heated feud is going to be one of the major attractions of this year’s WrestleMania Night 1. There are very few matches on the card which have been as personal as this one.

WWE’s plan for Rey Mysterio vs Dominik Mysterio feud

WWE has been planning this much anticipated Rey Mysterio vs Dominik Mysterio match ever since the latter turned on his dad at Clash at the Castle last September. Following that match, the 25-year-old joined forces with The Judgement Day. Since then, Dominik has barely missed a chance to bad-mouth his father in some way or other.

During the week’s episode of SmackDown, he crossed all the limits by talking foul to his mother and sister as well. It led the elder Mysterio to snap and finally accept his son’s challenge to go head-to-head at WrestleMania 39.

From several reports’ suggestions, it looks like Dominik Mysterio will enter the ring as the favorite of the match and WWE will present him as the star. However, as of now, all of these are nothing more than mere speculation.
