WWE Legend Randy Orton fought Logan Paul in the Elimination Chamber with four other contenders to determine the #1 contender for the World Heavy Weight Championship at WrestleMania XL. The match started with Drew McIntyre taking on LA Knight. However, after a hard-fought battle, Logan Paul, Randy Orton, and Drew McIntyre were left.

As the match inched closer to its end, Logan Paul pulled out his trademark brass knuckles before Randy Orton delivered an RKO out of nowhere to the Maverick. The move helped Drew McIntyre win the chamber match and book his ticket to WrestleMania. But why did Logan Paul punch Randy Orton? What is the beef between the two?

One of the reasons Logan Paul punched Randy Orton could be his elimination, courtesy of Randy Orton. Fumed by the sudden pin count, the Maverick attacked The Viper to vent out his frustration. But interestingly, the rivalry doesn’t end here. If we have a look at the history between the two, which started in 2022, it looks like WWE is building them up for a WrestleMania match, with EC being the trigger point for the live TV audience.

Mike Majlak, Logan Paul’s real-life friend and a fellow vlogger on YouTube, took to the platform and uploaded a YouTube short on December 6th last year. The clip featured Mike asking Randy Orton to search for Logan Paul’s US Championship belt before Paul took it from Orton’s hands. The incident was later followed by a series of tweets on X.

Logan Paul uploaded a clip on X on February 23rd, a day before their EC match with the tweet, “What’s wrong @RandyOrton” as he approached the stage as Orton looked uncomfortable with his presence. The Viper immediately responded to the tweet by tweeting, “You’ll find out tomorrow, Jake #prime #ballsweat #inabottle”

There are multiple tantrums for Logan Paul in a single tweet from Orton. The hashtags used in the tweet are thrown directly at the US Champion. Meanwhile, Orton also referred to him as Jake, probably to taunt him further by calling him out using his brother’s name.
