Charlotte Flair is no more a stranger to the WWE Universe. Her career in WWE has given her all the fame and money. The most important fact is that Charlotte has won the hearts of the WWE fans to stand tall on this grandest stage.

Charlotte’s wrestling journey was not so hard for her. Being the daughter of legendary Ric Flair, she grabbed the spotlight easily. Today, Flair is among the female wrestlers to have won a grand slam title.

She is a 6-time SmackDown Women’s Champion. Being from a professional wrestling background, Charlotte always nailed her performance with her mic skills, in-ring skills, and athleticism.

Charlotte’s wrestling career in WWE was bright right from the start. As soon as Charlotte debuted the roster, she set her eyes on the Divas Championship. Later, she defeated Nikki Bella for the title and caught the fans’ attention on her.

Charlotte Flair makes her wrestling debut

Charlotte Flair (Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr) was born on April 5, 1986, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her father, Ric Flair, is a WWE veteran with many records on his name. He holds the record for being the 16-time WWE World Champion.

Earlier, Charlotte used to accompany her father in WWE backstage. At a WWE segment between Ric Flair and Vince Russo, Charlotte made her appearance on the TV with her half-brother David.

She trained alongside her father, Ric Flair, in order to pursue a career in wrestling. Charlotte made her first televised appearance as a wrestler in NXT on July 13, 2012. She beat Bayley in her debut singles bout. Later, she was involved in a number of different feuds.

On May 29, 2014, Charlotte won the first WWE title of her career. She won the NXT Women’s Title after defeating Natalya in the finals of the 8-superstar tournament.

Charlotte’s main roster debut

In 2015, Charlotte made her main roster debut alongside Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. Later, she defeated Nikki Bella to win her first championship on the main roster.

Charlotte’s WWE career took a huge jump as she won the Divas Championship. She became the face of the company and defended her title. Fans also appreciated Charlotte for her in-ring mic skills, wrestling, and attitude.

In 2016, Charlotte got drafted to the Raw brand, thus becoming the first Raw Women’s Champion.

In 2017, she got drafted to SmackDown and soon became the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Later, Charlotte was involved in many feuds and also lost her title. However, she always rose back up and reclaimed her spot at the top.

Despite being Ric Flair’s daughter, Charlotte built a name for herself in the wrestling world. Her wrestling prowess and dominance have always astounded the audience. Her WWE career has been a successful one, with multiple records broken.

Charlotte holds the record for being a Triple Crown champion, a grand slam champion, and a 12-time WWE Women’s Champion on both Raw and SmackDown brands.

At Survivor Series 2021, she will go head to head against Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in a Champion vs Champion match.
