Ric Flair had a career in professional wrestling for over three decades. During his tenure in professional wrestling, Flair appeared in WWE and produced some thriller matches for the WWE Universe to enjoy. But his match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24 will be remembered forever.
Well, there are two reasons for it. First, it was a really entertaining match, and second, that match marked the end of Ric Flair’s in-ring action in WWE. The match had a stipulation that if The Nature Boy loses to Michaels, then he will have to retire from wrestling.
And Flair lost to The Heartbreak Kid on that day, and that is technically his last match in WWE. However, he received a fitting farewell from the WWE Universe and Vince McMahon.
He fought his last professional wrestling match against Sting on the September 15 episode of Impact Wrestling. During the match, Ric Flair even tore his left triceps and got ruled out for an indefinite period.
Flair made a return shortly, but never wrestled. In 2012, he left TNA. After that, Flair appeared in WWE in a non-wrestling role, but never wrestled.
