Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest faces in WWE right now, and WWE is going to put him dead center in their marketing for WrestleMania 39. It is highly important for the company to book the Beast Incarnate in the best match possible. While many favored Bobby Lashley to be the contender, plans are changing. But will Lesnar end up having to wrestle the projected opponent at the Showcase of the Immortals?

Recently, on Raw, MVP issued a challenge to Brock Lesnar on the behalf of the Nigerian Giant, Omos. So, speculation arose that Lesnar might face Omos at the biggest show of the year. But given the track record of Lesnar at Mania, it doesn’t seem that Lesnar might have chosen this opponent. But, in contrast, this popular wrestling reporter clarified that there is no way that anyone could force a match on Lesnar.

Will Brock Lesnar truly wrestle this WWE star at WrestleMania 39?

While talking about this week’s SmackDown, Dave Meltzer talked about a potential match between Omos and Lesnar at Mania 39. He said, If Brock really didn’t want to do it, it wouldn’t happen. Whether it’s Vince McMahon or whoever is telling him that. So Brock couldn’t have hated it that much. But, I find it almost impossible to believe Brock requested this match.

This is not the first time that Meltzer talked about the match as well. Previously, the reporter said that WWE is going ahead with this idea. But given everything we know about Lesnar’s working conditions, it is imperative that they find him the best possible opponent at The Showcase of the Immortals.

From what we know, since the last WrestleMania, Lesnar has had a fierce rivalry with only two people, Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley. While his matches with Reigns were one-sided and decidedly going to go in The Tribal Chief’s corner, his matches with Lashley were quite the back-and-forth.

The two behemoths in the ring gave their all to these matches, and it reflected in their performances. Despite Lashley scoring the win, a cloud of doubt hangs over the outcome with a disqualification victory, not ending the feud decisively. So, for avid watchers, it would be amazing to see Lesnar and Lashley bury the hatchet by going at it one last time at the biggest event of this year.
