She has always been involved in dance and music since her teenage years.

Jimmy and Fatu’s relationship is textbook. The two met while working in WWE’s developmental territory. The wrestlers began their careers at a young age and have been together since they were 21. The duo married on 16 January 2014 in Maui. This was a private ceremony with only close friends and family invited. They currently reside in Pensacola, Florida. They do not have any children together, but Fatu is the stepmom to Jimmy’s first children, Jayla and Jaidan. Since marrying Jimmy, Trinity became a member of the legendary Anoa’i family. With Jimmy’s bloodline being of the Anoa’i family and his father being Rikishi, Fatu always felt honored to be a part of this legacy. After the wedding, she became family to Roman Reigns as well.

Trinity’s pro wrestling career

Being a native of Florida, Fatu joined the developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) of the WWE in 2009. She became the inaugural FCW Divas Champion on 20 June 2010. She also wrestled against AJ Lee during her time here. Naomi debuted on NXT in 2010.

On 9 January 2012, she made her main roster debut on Monday Night RAW. She was part of the group The Funkadactyls with Brodus Clay, Cameron, and Hornswoggle. During this time, she suffered her first major injury on RAW in a match against Aksana. It was a displaced fracture of the orbital bone that put her on the bench until 17 March.  She got her solo boost during the 2014-2016 Divas Revolution. 2014 is when she married Jimmy, and in December of the same year, she would be his partner in a feud against The Miz. The angle was that The Miz wanted to help her singing career, which Jimmy was against.

Despite having several matches, Naomi never picked up many victories during this time. In 2016, she would be inactive due to a torn ankle tendon. 19 July 2016, would see her change her gimmick with a more neon-inspired costume and entrance. Dubbed ‘The Glow, ‘ this would propel Naomi’s stardom among fans. This was also when she began seeing more victories than usual. She won the 2017 Elimination Chamber match against Alexa Bliss, becoming SmackDown’s Women’s Champion for the first time.

Last feud, departure, and current status

2018 saw Naomi feuding with Mandy Rose over her real-life husband, Jimmy. This feud saw the two women eliminate each other during the 2019 Royal Rumble. She was scheduled to work with Sasha Banks during her last match in the WWE. However, on the 16 May episode of RAW in 2022, she and Banks would walk out of the arena before the match. This was due to the creative differences the two would have with Vince McMahon. Despite the two being the Tag Team Champions, they would receive indefinite suspensions, and the title would be vacated.

Apart from wrestling, she has been in movies and music. She released her first single, Dance All Night, in May 2014 with a music video on YouTube. She also starred in the WWE Studios movie The Marine 5: Battleground. The movie also starred The Miz, in the lead role, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, and Bo Dallas.
