But the truth is far from reality as Sikoa’s father is a WWE Hall Of Famer- Rikishi. Yes, that is correct he is Rikishi’s son and this means he is the youngest brother of Jey and Jimmy Uso. Soloa Sikoa was born on 18th March 1993. The 31-year-old was born in Sacramento and Umaga is his uncle.

Many people were surprised as the gossip led to huge misconceptions. Now the speculation of Umaga as his father came up due to their similarity and how much Sikoa honors him.

Even in an interview with ‘For the Love of Wrestling’ with Monopoly events Rikishi himself stated how his son reminds him of his younger brother Umaga. The interview took place on 5th March this year itself.

Rikishi added, “It’s almost like, when you watch Solo, I get a flashback of my younger brother, Umaga. Its just that Solo—he’s natural in there. You can tell the way he moves and he barely cracks a smile, and you know he is very focused.”  He claimed that Sikoa’s personality imitates Umaga.

Hence the California-born is cousins with Roman Reigns. But how is he related to the other famous Samoan wrestler- Dwayne Johnson?

The dynamic between Reigns and Rikishi’s sons is more intricate than it appears. While Reigns is their uncle in terms of hierarchy, he is actually a first cousin once removed, as he is a cousin to Rikishi.

The term “once removed” denotes cousins who are a generation apart. But then how he is connected to The Rock?

The lineage of The Rock’s grandfather, “High Chief” Peter Maivia, and Solo Sikoa’s grandfather, Reverend Amituana’i Anoa’i, traces back to a deep bond as blood brothers. This connection has endured through generations, fostering a sense of unity that has made both families consider themselves one.

Interestingly, Reigns is the first cousin of Yokozuna, Rikishi, and The Tonga Kid, but on-screen, he is recognized as the cousin of Solo Sikoa and the Usos.
