Demetri Jackson is a Puerto Rican independent wrestler who started his professional wrestling career a couple of years ago. He is dating Rhea Ripley since 2019 and the two live together in Orlando, Florida. Prior to becoming a pro wrestler, Jackson did Olympic weightlifting and also has a Masters degree in Sports & Exercise Science.

Jackson goes by the moniker of ‘The Action Man,’ and brings forward a nice blend of strength and speed in his wrestling style. Not much of people know this, but it was former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre who motivated him to become a pro wrestler.

Demetri Jackson is no ordinary wrestler from the independent circuit. He’s got the greater vision. ‘The Action Man’ wants to become a trainer for wrestlers. Now many would say, ‘Oh, aren’t there trainers who train wrestlers?’ Well, there are. But Jackson is no ordinary trainer.

Jackson’s vision is to use his Masters degree in Sports and Exercise Science to make training and functionality better for wrestlers. He revealed this during a sit-down interview on Mike Axler’s Ice Cream Hour Podcast.

Despite being in a relationship with the ‘Nightmare‘ Rhea Ripley for two years now, Demetri Jackson has never tried to use her as a way to get into the WWE or elsewhere. Jackson has worked hard despite almost no bookings in the COVID-19 era.

‘The Action Man’ even made an appearance for AEW on AEW Dark in August last year in a tag team match against the Best Friends. Apart from wrestling, Jackson spends his time training alongside Rhea.

When not wrestling or training, Rhea Ripley and Demetri Jackson give a glimpse of their everyday life on their YouTube channel, Brutality in Action. All in all, the couple lives a happy life together. While Rhea is on top of the WWE mountain, Demetri is working his way in hope of making it big in the pro wrestling circuit.
