James Storm is a former TNA Heavyweight Champion and current NWA Tag Team Champion. He has wrestled for NJPW when they collaborated with TNA and even has an NXT appearance to his name. He defeated Adam Rose in an NXT taping in December 2015. However, he opted to stay with TNA instead of signing with WWE.

A fan mentioned Randy Orton in a tweet, hoping to get an answer on a strange question. The fan wondered whether Storm’s ‘Cowboy’ moniker being synonymous with Cowboy Bob Orton led to any heat between Storm and Bob’s son Randy. Randy responded to the tweet saying ‘Whose James Storm?’.

Orton has never held back on his Twitter. He has gotten into feuds with fellow wrestlers like Tommaso Ciampa and even the owner of AEW, Tony Khan. Orton’s Twitter adventures have even angered Vince McMahon, especially during the feud with Tommaso Ciampa. In fact, Orton once got involved in a feud with RJ City over the WWE video game.

James Storm has not responded to Orton’s tweet. When he does, it’s obvious it will end up being another long Twitter battle between two of the most decorated American wrestlers.

James Storm has won sixteen championships in TNA. Randy Orton is a 13-time World Champion and is also a Grand Slam Champion.

Apart from NXT, James Storm’s connect to WWE is through former tag team partner Bobby Roode. Now Robert Roode, the two were part of TNA’s best team Beer Money. They won multiple tag team titles until they split in 2011. Consequently, both Roode and Storm would go on to become TNA Heavyweight Champions.

Interestingly, Randy Orton beat Storm’s former tag partner at Fastlane 2018 for the United States Championship.

Storm and Orton are doing pretty well in their respective companies. Orton faces Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell and Storm holds the NWA Tag team Titles alongside Eli Drake.

Storm’s contract with NWA expired in September but he is still a champion there. Despite either superstar’s condition, this Twitter feud might be the most entertaining one Orton has gotten into.
