The Elimination Chamber event was full of memorable moments. The variety of matches featured insane spots and moves throughout. The men’s Elimination Chamber match certainly stole the show with the sheer quality of wrestling on offer. Austin Theory retained the US title after a draining battle against five performers. After his win, he discussed a plethora of topics in the post-show press conference, including his possible opponent at WrestleMania 39, John Cena.
Coming into the match, Theory was clearly at a disadvantage owing to the number of challengers. But he got an unexpected assist from the returning Logan Paul. ‘The Maverick’ attacked Seth Rollins, who was the last man remaining, along with Theory. The champion was his usual cocky self in the presser later and mocked the wrestler-turned-actor, Cena. This could be a big hint about their speculated encounter at ‘The Showcase of Immortals”.

Austin Theory asked why people talk about John Cena
In the post-event presser, Theory said, “Why does everybody talk about John Cena? Why? Why don’t they talk about me? Because now they’re gonna talk about me. Because tonight I showcased my immortality inside that chamber.” The rumor mill has been abuzz for months about a face-off between him and Cena. And these wishes look to be coming true, after the latest comments by the young champion.

The Men’s Elimination Chamber match was top notch
The men’s Elimination Chamber match saw some of the most jaw-dropping sequences of the night. Montez Ford’s unorthodox dive from the top of the chamber was appreciated a lot by the fans and was a truly standout moment. Although Theory ended up as the winner Ford certainly won many hearts with his move. He later sustained an injury and was accompanied by officials to the back.

Austin Theory is among the most vocal superstars on the roster. But he certainly put his money where his mouth is when it mattered the most. It looks like a much-awaited match-up with legend John Cena awaits him. This will arguably be the biggest match of his career. And his comments in the post-show conference show that he is unfazed by the superstardom of Cena. It will be interesting for the fans to see how this rivalry unfolds.
