Roman Reigns has been running through opponents with relative ease. The Tribal Chief has been the most dominant champion of 2020, even though he only won the title in August. However, Reigns might have a brick wall ahead of him that could stop his reign in its tracks. That man is none other than Goldberg.
Goldberg vs Roman Reigns?

Goldberg has been away from WWE since losing the WWE Universal Championship to Braun Strowman. WrestleMania 36 was originally meant to be the crowning moment for Roman Reigns, but the global pandemic dashed his hopes.
Fans were deprived of a certified dream match, but there might be hope for those who really want to see Reigns square off against Goldberg.
The former WCW Champion is a two-time WWE Universal Champion, similar to Reigns. He is still able to deliver in short bursts against opponents who can sell for him. It is one of the reasons why his match against Dolph Ziggler was a bigger success than his debacle against the Undertaker.
Roman Reigns is a far better opponent for Goldberg than Taker. Reigns is currently dominating SmackDown and doesn’t look too keen on giving up his perch.
If the perch is to be vacated, Reigns would have to be thrown off it by a Superstar of superior caliber. So far, no wrestler on either brand has proven to be of those attributes.
One final run for him

Goldberg deserves an opponent like Reigns so that the legend can have one final banger before hanging up his boots for good. At 53, Goldberg should be nearing the end of his in-ring career and might even be a valuable addition to the backstage personnel. He is one of the only wrestlers who thrived in WCW as well as WWE.
The odds of him returning to wrestling for one final run are very high. On an episode of the Bump, Goldberg made it very clear that Roman Reigns was on his list. That match could be a suitable WrestleMania match, given the fact that their WrestleMania 36 match was canceled.

If not Roman, Goldberg could be a good addition to the WrestleMania midcard. A plethora of opponents are present for the legend to Spear in half.
The Fiend could be a good opponent for him, considering the fact that he snatched the title from the Fiend. Irrespective of the opponent, if Goldberg does return, look forward to some devastating spears and some spine shattering Jackhammers.
