The Best in the World, CM Punk is currently going through a rough patch. After returning to pro wrestling with AEW in 2021, Punk quickly rose the ranks but fell fast enough as well. After his controversial outburst during a press conference last year, Punk has been missing from AEW television.
The infamous AEW media scrum saw him publicly lash out at The Young Bucks, Colt Cabana, and Adam Page which resulted in his reputation within the company taking a plunge. Ever since then, Punk has been out of action, and there have been no hints of his return, until now.

Currently, he is recovering, and nursing his injury, while witnessing steady and healthy progress to his injury. Punk’s suspension also paid a major role in his absence from AEW. However, recently, he took to his Instagram to post a major update about his possible return.
On his Instagram story, Punk uploaded a story of him working out with the song “Honor Never Dies” by Hatebreed playing. Many fans speculated it with Punk teasing his return to ROH after a span of 17 years. The 44-year-old last wrestled for ROH back in 2006, before making his move to WWE.
Since Instagram stories are time restricted, here is a snap of it, if you have missed it.

While he is still a controversial man in AEW, many fans are still looking forward to his return to either AEW or ROH.

It would be a boost to ROH, a return home for him and if he and The Elite haven't sorted things out would be a way to bring him back without them having to interact as often. So could be. Or it could just be Punk being Punk and trolling. You never know with him.
