With over two decades of wrestling experience, James has been handed over to the role of Creative Director and Head of Female Talent in the OVW. However, she has put those rumors to bed and has taken over a different job.

This was announced through the official handle of the OVW, as they welcomed the six-time women’s champion on X. Their caption included, “BIG NEWS HERE AT OVW! Welcome to the team @MickieJames It’s an incredible new era in the OVW Women’s Division!.” Indeed, her vast experience in professional wrestling could be a trump card for the OVW. Interestingly, during James’ tenure with the new organization, she will also be given another duty.
