Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has said that the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Event will be talked about forever. The press conference will emanate from T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 8. While WWE has done such kind of press conferences in the past, what makes it extra special is that a major announcement will be made on the night. The Rock is set to face off against Roman Reigns at the press conference, promising a night of high drama.

Ever since The Rock showed up on SmackDown last week to confront Reigns, reports have been swirling that he will challenge Reigns at WrestleMania 40. But this has led to some dissent among fans who believe Cody Rhodes, the 2024 Royal Rumble winner should be given his rightful place on the card against Reigns. The Kickoff Press Event will now give fans a clear idea of what will go down at WrestleMania 40 and whether WWE will pivot from its decision of booking The Rock vs Roman Reigns as the marquee match.

One take at a time

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let?s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
