Much like the last few years, WWE is following their usual pattern of keeping WrestleMania a two-night event. This allows for increased excitement among fans and more matches to be put on the card. While the last night is usually given all the attention, if you are a fan, we wouldn’t suggest you miss out on the first one either.

In case you need a reminder of the lineup for the first night of the biggest PLE, we are here with the updated match cards and the predictions for the results.

Including both nights, there are a total of 13 matches that have been advertised by the promotion so far. While there is a possibility of a surprise match, all guest appearances would likely be fitted into one match or another. The event lineup will be kicked off by the living legend Rey Mysterio.

The father-son feud is back again at WrestleMania. Last year, Dominik Mysterio faced his father in a solo match and the result was unfavorable to him. This year, he has brought a friend along. Fans need not worry, as Rey would be facing the additional threat alongside another luchador, Andrade El Idolo.

Prediction: The WWE legend and Idolo could win the match.

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi vs Damage CTRL

Fans will see Jade Cargill in all her glory since her debut at Royal Rumble. Back then, fans were left wanting more. Hopefully, the babyface will be able to have enough screen time this time around for fans to be satisfied.

Prediction: Damage CTRL might lose the match, helping WWE to set Jade Cargill as a top star.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

The Judgment Day (C) will face #DIY, The Awesome Truth, The New Day, A-Town Down Under, and the New Catch Republic in a Six Pack Ladder Match. The winner will get to take the Tag Team Championship home.

Prediction: The Awesome Truth may take the gold home because of the team’s growing popularity.

Speculation: The Hardy Boyz could appear during the match, considering the heavy rumors of Matt Hardy returning to WWE.

Brother vs Brother Match

A historical matchup that happens every 15 years will feature Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso this year. The twin Samoans have been building up to this moment for many weeks now. The storyline has a personal touch and due to the chemistry between the two, fans have high hopes for this card.

Prediction: Jey Uso ‘yeets’ his way to the victory.

Speculation: WWE legend Rikishi may show up to keep his boys in check. He had earlier announced that he would see Philadelphia soon. So, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him interfere in the match to keep things fair.

Intercontinental Championship

Gunther (C) will defend his title one more time against Sami Zayn. The hero has shown resilience throughout this storyline and proved himself worthy of facing The Ring General in a match.

Prediction: Sami Zayn takes the title home. The babyface’s growing popularity could secure him this title, while Gunther moves on to other titles in the promotion, ending the longest IC singular reign in WWE history.

WWE Women’s Championship

Becky Lynch won the women’s Elimination Chamber this year in Perth. This granted her the opportunity to face Rhea Ripley (C) at WrestleMania XL this year. Mami has shown her dominance as the Women’s Champion of WWE for about a year now.

Prediction: The Eradicator could retain the title because of her never-fading popularity among the crowd while The Man becomes her next victim.

The main event of the first night will see Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins facing off against Roman Reigns and The Rock. “Final Boss” has promised that he will try everything in his power to make The American Nightmare lose the rematch at WrestleMania XL. So, this tag team match will determine whether Bloodline Rules will apply to the main event of the second night.

Prediction: The Bloodline comes out victorious and the Bloodline Rules apply to the main event of WrestleMania XL. However, The American Nightmare would most likely secure a victory despite the odds, to make it even grander.
