Most fans don’t want Paul to win but former NWO member and wrestling great Konnan believes that Paul might just win because of his popularity.

On his podcast ‘Keepin’ It 100 OFFICIAL’ Konnan said, “I’m thinking, bro, just because of all the time they’re giving Paul here, I have a feeling, I’m thinking they want Paul to go over because of the buzz it will generate. Paul made his in-ring debut with The Miz in a tag-team match against father son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. But after winning the match, The Miz attacked Paul and that led to another match between the two at Summerslam where Paul defeated Miz.

Paul then challenged The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns for The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel but lost in the process in spite of help from his brother Jake. This match in general got a lot of acclaim because of Paul’s athleticism. Paul even appeared in The Royal Rumble where he eliminated Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins. He later developed a rivalry with Rollins which led to their match at WrestleMania 39 which Paul lost. But here too he received wide praise for his in-ring skills and high-rise maneuvers.
