The Undertaker narrowly escaped a major botch in WWE. Moreover, it would have resulted in a definite injury had a prank played on future WWE legend Vader been successful. Vader is one of the heaviest and largest WWE Superstars in history. At his peak, he weighed nearly 500 pounds. However, he could still pull off some high-flying moves.
Vader and The Undertaker faced off at the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event in 1997. The match by itself was pretty decent, as the two WWE legends went toe to toe. However, it might have had a very different ending if Vader had done what he originally planned. Moreover, WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield actually backed up this plan.

And we’re driving down the road, he goes, I got an idea because you think I can do a moonsault and Deadman catch me and tombstone me? And uh Vader’s 440 at the time.”

John revealed his immediate reaction to Vader’s pitch.
“I said absolutely! I said just call it, I said don’t even tell him.” Layfield added how The Undertaker reacted to Vader when he pitched it to The Phenom.
“I could see him over there telling him. He’s all animated.” John added. “Taker never looks at him, he looks up, pats him on the leg, and walks out of the dressing room”
