Roman Reigns regained the WWE Universal Championship he never lost

Roman Reigns made a shocking return to WWE a few weeks back at SummerSlam. He cut Bray Wyatt’s celebrations short after the Fiend captured the Universal title.

The same week on SmackDown, Reigns wasn’t officially into the triple threat match as he didn’t sign the contract already signed by Strowman and Wyatt. At Payback, the match would start with only Wyatt and Strowman who were looking to end each other. Wyatt superlexed Strowman from the top rope and destroyed the ring. That was the moment Reigns walked out with his new ally Paul Heyman.

The Big Dog stood at the stage and signed the contract. The Former Universal Champion then entered the ring and won the Universal title.
