

WWE and AEW are fighting tooth and nail for everything in the wrestling business. From ratings to potential markets to revenue and now even Superstars, both companies want it all.
Speaking about Superstars, it is very well known a number of WWE superstars jumped ship to the land of Elite. According to Fightful select, WWE is looking to increase its roster and is trying to rope in many AEW talents. It was first reported in 2019 that WWE was interested in signing Anthony Bowens.

He was on WWE’s radar for a long, long time. However, because of unknown circumstances, he didn’t sign with WWE.
Unsurprisingly AEW signed Bowens, confirmed by Tony Khan in an interview with PW Insider. This happened after WWE signed Benjamin Carter, a talent on AEW’s radar.
There were rumors that many companies, including AEW, wanted his signature. However, he chose WWE and is expected to join the NXT UK brand soon.
WWE is looking to sign many young recruits to the Performance Center or directly to perform on NXT. The WWE scouts are currently on their toes, keeping an eye for the next big Superstar.
WWE scouts are keeping track of superstars wrestling on AEW Dark
According to reports from Fightful Select, WWE has got in touch with many AEW superstars as they look to extend their roster. The talent that wrestles on AEW dark is either contracted, or sometimes even unsigned.

AEW Dark takes place after Dynamite goes off the air and isn’t aired on TV like the latter. However, the show is full of talented wrestlers who are still raw and learning the trade. The superstars that end up impressing the top management earn full-time contracts.

Several other rumors state that WWE has an eye on a few powerful talents of NJPW, but no names have been released.
