WWE Champion Bobby Lashley Could Receive 90-Day Suspension Without Pay Next Week

After interfering in a wonderful #1 contender’s match, Bobby Lashley got himself into trouble. The WWE Champion assaulted Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston on Raw and drew the ire of WWE official Adam Pearce.
Bobby Lashley gets a stern warning
Pearce is doing a tremendous job of being an authority figure without trying to steal the spotlight. On Raw, he made the right decision by setting up a #1 contender’s match for the WWE Championship between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston.

Unfortunately, the brilliant battle ended in a no contest after Lashley assaulted both men. Despite eating a Claymore for his troubles, Lashley’s dreadful night hadn’t ended yet.

Backstage, Lashley received a warning from Adam Pearce, who also claimed he’d receive a 90-day suspension if he interferes in next week’s WWE Championship #1 contender’s match.

Despite beating McIntyre at WrestleMania and at Backlash, Bobby Lashley simply cannot get him off his back. He cost him a guaranteed victory against Kofi Kingston last week and has almost gotten him suspended for 90 days.
Will the WWE Champion control his anger and stay out of next week’s match? Will we see a new #1 contender or will Lashley and McIntyre settle their rivalry in an ultimate battle inside Hell in a Cell?
Former Hurt Business teammates do battle
Tonight wasn’t a good night for members of the Hurt Business, unless your name is Cedric Alexander. He faced his former teammate and the man with whom he held the Raw Tag Team Championships, Shelton Benjamin. This was a rematch from a couple of weeks ago, which saw the veteran beat the youngster easily.

This time, Alexander tried to unnerve Benjamin with an intense promo, berating one of WWE’s most athletic wrestlers and his former friend. Both men threw everything they could at the other, especially Shelton, who turned back the clock to keep Alexander down. He busted out the German suplexes as well, but he couldn’t keep Alexander down.

Shelton clotheslined Alexander out of his boots before unloading punches in the corner. He hit him with the German suplexes, but Alexander elbowed his way out of a dangerous predicament. In the end, Alexander hit a sudden Neutralyzer which followed a thumb to the eye for a huge win.
