Triple H says Edge has been talking to him since before he returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble about coming to NXT and performing, and listed people he wanted to work with and wants to put over young talent.

This is quite a shocking piece of news, which might have fans super hyped. Seeing Edge come to NXT and wrestling the brand’s best Superstars is bound to be superb. He even listed people he would love to work with and the young talent he wanted to put over.
On last week’s episode of NXT, Edge sauntered to the ring to confront Finn Balor. Notably, the NXT Champion will face Pete Dunne at Takeover: Vengeance Day, a match the Rumble winner is going to monitor closely.
Either man can walk out of the match as champion, and Edge will have a strong challenge at WrestleMania.
Balor vs Edge is dream match we never thought we’d see, but Edge vs Dunne is a match we never knew we needed. The longest reigning UK Champion has been in fiery form since returning to American soil, and a WrestleMania showdown between Edge and Pete Dunne could blow the roof off the Raymond James Stadium.

Apart from Dunne and Balor, there is a plethora of talent that the legend can work with in NXT. On the same episode he confronted Balor, Edge had a tense face-off with former NXT Champion Karrion Kross.
Kross has been on a rampage, paving his way to the title he never lost. Kross could be the NXT Champion at WrestleMania, leading to a dream showdown with Edge.
Another Superstar we would love to see face Edge is Adam Cole. The longest reigning NXT Champion deserves a big match to cap off his decorated NXT career, and a showdown with a former World Champion would be the perfect farewell for the Panama City Playboy.

Other wrestlers we would love to see the Rumble winner face are Austin Theory, Leon Ruff, Tommaso Ciampa, Kushida and of course, the North American Champion, Johnny Gargano.
