WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is Shocked With Sasha Banks’ Comments

WWE Hall of Famer Booker-T gave his take on Bayley and Sasha Banks. The current tag team champions had taken a dig at the Hall of Fame tag team i.e. Harlem Heat.

Harlem Heat was officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.

The Team consisted of Booker T and his real-life brother Stevie Ray and were managed by Sherri Martel, a.k.a Sensational Sherri.

They have been tag team champions for a combined 14 times. The duo has won titles in organizations like GWF, ROW, and WCW.

Talking about Bayley and Banks, they have had the greatest year in their career.

The duo are the reigning women’s tag team champions and Bayley is the longest-reigning SmackDown women’s champion.

Booker T, in a recent interview, said that Sasha Banks is a ‘major player’ as per his analysis.

However, SmackDown women’s champion Bayley was described by Booker T as not being great at anything, but good at everything.

The Boss then came back with a reply of her own.

On “The Hall of Fame with Booker T and Brad Gilmore” podcast, Booker T talks about admiring Bayley.

“My thing is this, man, I put her over, right?” Booker said.

“I put Bayley over, too, right? Sometimes, that’s very hard to do. But I managed to do it because I’m the bigger man. I said, ‘Bayley’s not great at any one thing, but she’s good at everything.’ If that’s not a compliment, I don’t know what is. Maybe they’re feeling a certain way about themselves right now because they got gold around their waists.”

Booker T went on to explain why Banks and Bayley cannot be compared to Harlem Heat.

Even though he acknowledged the immense talent in Banks and Bayley, he said that Harlem Heat brought so much to the table that people still sing their name.

“Sasha, Bayley, great tag team, but as far as those two being anywhere near as great as Hall of Fame tag team, ten-time World Tag Team Champions — set the record. Along with the greatest manager in the history of the game: Sherri Martel. As far as Sasha Banks and Bayley goes — as far as tag team wrestling goes — and what Harlem Heat brought to the game, and still sprinkling out there all over the world right now. People are still singing the name on a yearly basis. … Sasha, Bayley, congratulations on your success, keeping doing what you do, hopefully, you won’t post any more tweets about me or anything like that.”

Many people may say 2020 is the worst year of their life. But Sasha and Bayley will certainly not agree.

Bayley is SmackDown women’s champion and Tag team champion with Sasha Banks, who is challenging Asuka for RAW women’s title.

The duo can potentially have possession of every female title available on the main roster.

In front of the camera on social media, Bayley and Banks are producing some fine stuff. Currently, they are on every show, every PPV, and even living their character on social media.

In this day and age when superstars break Kayfabe as soon as the episode is over, the Blueprint and the Blue Brand Champ are doing their best work.

However, comparing themselves to a Hall of Fame team at this young stage of their career is quite far fetched.
