Foley knows why Roman Reigns grew as a star
In a recent edition of his podcast, the former wrestler praised The Bloodline for their success. He then shed light on how the Covid-19 pandemic might have helped Roman Reigns grow as a wrestling star.

Foley said Vince McMahon was pushing the wrestler to new heights and “in a strange way, the pandemic episodes may have aided Roman in that.” The former wrestler also talked about how Reigns needed this push because he wasn’t considered “the guy.”
He added why he thinks the pandemic era helped him by saying, “I know when you’re out there with a crowd, you kind of get into a cadence and it’s difficult to tell any kind of story. If you don’t have a catchphrase or a pop, every 10-15 seconds, people might tune you out.”
Foley isn’t the only WWE personality who has talked about the pandemic’s effect on Reigns’ success. In fact, The Wise Man himself has talked about it.

In such a situation, the team was able to create cinematic wrestling scenes by having the camera right inside the ring with them, which allowed Reigns to expand on his character as he trash-talked to the camera
The key to using the situation as an advantage was to bend it positively. Heyman offered an optimistic view of the same and was able to get several fans hooked on The Tribal Chief’s story arc.
