Dwayne Johnson is one of the most popular celebrities of any generation. He has been featured in some of the most iconic roles and moments in Hollywood history. His influence is bigger in scope than most wrestlers and actors in the industry today. So what could possibly stop him from running from the office one day in the future?

We have seen many wrestlers and actors turn to politics to grab some ounce of fame from their last days in their company. Arnold Schwarzenegger from the movies and Kane from WWE are perfect examples of such celebrities holding office in the future. And seeing that Johnson never backs down from a real challenge, he would only shoot for the highest seat in the room, President, if his star ever starts dimming. Hold on to that thought because Jim Ross has a few choices words about that possibility.

When in a fan FAQ, the interviewer asked Former WWE commentator Jim Ross what dream match would he want to see if it was feasibly possible to happen. JR started answering the question by eliminating the names who possibly couldn’t appear in the ring. Both Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels were off to the side. But when the interviewer mentioned The Rock, JR put out in the universe that the only way he returns to the ring is if he was running for President.

This sparked the interviewer to immediately put two and two together and ask JR if The Rock vs Donald Trump could ever be in the books. To which JR replied, “Wouldn’t that be, huh? Oh god…” After that, the former WWE talent relations officer was silent for a few seconds. Unbelievable for the voice of WWE in the ’90s to shut up immediately like that. But when you give a man no choice to answer, that’s exactly what comes out.

Talks about Johnson for President aren’t new either. When the cry was first heard, he claimed that a plan for the Presidency could be in the works. But then in a Vanity Fair interview, DJ revealed that even though a recent poll showed he had 47% of Americans supporting him, there are no plans that he could be a leader fit to run America.
