WWE has released several Superstars and employees from the company over the past few months. While fans and wrestling critics are unhappy with the company for releasing talent in bulk every year, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam feels it’s completely normal.
WWE released several of its staff across various departments a few days ago. This only came after a few NXT releases last week and more main roster releases last month. The WWE Universe is very vocal about being unhappy over WWE releasing or making so many people jobless at once.

Rob Van Dam defends WWE again after series of releases
Amidst all the backlash the company is receiving for the cuts, WWE Legend Rob Van Dam has come ahead to defend them. In his latest tweet, RVD claimed that WrestleMania season has always been followed by some cleaning. And he’s seen that from the time he first signed with them in 2001.
Since I signed my 2001 contract with WWE, they’ve always followed WM with a change-up in the roster, which releases many people from their positions. Every year, the social world is shocked.

Many fans weren’t happy with what RVD shared defending Mr. McMahon. However, there were some who got absolutely bitter about it.
One Twitter user even wrote it was saddening to see Rob Van Dam being completely comfortable with the release pattern. But like always, the ‘One of a Kind’ had a response.

Van Dam asked the user not to be sad and quoted Ric Flair. He meant when you’re in the pro wrestling business, you become desensitized to a lot of things.

This is not the first time ‘Mr. Monday Night’ has defended the WWE Chairman. He’s been pretty vocal about how fans and critics like to blame Vince McMahon for anything that happens in WWE.

Not just that, RVD also defended WWE’s Wellness Policy not so long ago. Seems like the ‘Whole F*n Show’ is doing things right by being a sort of a ‘company man.’ Either way, RVD’s defenses haven’t been weak at all!
