‘Biography: WWE Legends’, is a popular A&E series that focuses on the WWE superstars and factions. Last month, the series aired its third season and the first episode was all about ‘nWo’, the legendary WWE faction that included Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall.
Even though the documentary did an amazing job of pulling the drapes over the phenomenal journey of ‘nWo’, there was a segment that didn’t fit well with a WWE Hall of Famer.

WWE Hall of Famer on out-of-context use of his words
Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash talked about A&E’s documentary about the nWo in the latest episode of his podcast ‘Kliq This’. During the podcast, a segment came when Oliver asked Nash about the documentary.
To this, Kevin Nash immediately replied that more than 99 percent of the time, it’s rotten. He mentioned that most of the parts in documentaries like that are usually hyper-edited.

“I would say 99.97% of the time, I think it’s fu**ing rotten. It’s funny because people who are in our business, in our industry, that watched a lot of that happen live, like Eric (Bischoff) is talking on that and he says some different things, but it’s so hyper-edited.”

Nash further explained that in the documentary, there was a part where he was discussing the night Hulk Hogan joined them. When he saw the final product, Nash was shocked as his comment seemed to be very much out of place.
“I’m hearing what they’re using for my sound bite, and I’m thinking like, wow, that wasn’t even in that context. It’s almost like I came across harsh at Hogan, the way they edited me.”

According to Nash, his ‘creative-control’ comment about Hulk Hogan was miscomprehended
Hulk Hogan joining Nash and Hall was a jaw-dropping moment back then. Fans didn’t expect the people’s hero to turn into a villain. Hogan earned a lot even just by wearing the ‘nWo’ t-shirt.
In the documentary, there was a part when the discussion about the heel turn of Hulk Hogan was going on. During that part, Eric Bischoff revealed that Hogan had creative control, and he used that for the first time when he was asked to join Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.
Just when Eric ended his statement, the video immediately cut to the part where Nash was commenting on providing Hulk Hogan with creative control. However, according to Nash, it got portrayed in the wrong way.
