Paul Orndorff explained, “I was always told that the guy that had the belt needs to know how to wrestle. […] I’m just the type of guy if you have that (WWE title) you need to be that tough, tougher type of guy who can move and to make that belt be respectful. It doesn’t need to be thrown around to five different people in a year, which makes it mean nothing.”
Orndorff referred to the situation where, in every main event match, the company shifted the title to another superstar. He also confronted Hogan’s poor wrestling in the interview.

Terry (Hogan) did great with the belt. Of course, everything went on him. I mean you had to push you had yo pencil and I do believe that he carried it well. […] Terry didn’t need a belt, Terry had so much charisma and size and everything that he didn’t need no belt.”
