The Bella Twins are two of the most iconic wrestlers in WWE’s rising women’s division. While the Four Horsewomen took the world by storm, Nikki and Brie Bella paved the way for them in this business. Although they’re in the Hall of Fame, they still look forward to returning to the ring.

Both the Bella Twins are parents now. Brie has two children, Birdie and Buddy, while Nikki recently gave birth to a boy named Matteo. They’ve claimed they’ll return to the ring once they’ve fully experienced the joys of motherhood. Now that they’ve entered the Hall of Fame, the question about their retirement has risen.

However, the Bella Twins set the record straight and said they aren’t done with wrestling. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Bella Twins talked about a potential return to the WWE ring.

“So we definitely talk about it. The one thing is that WWE brought the women’s tag team titles and we’re like, wait a second, how did the Bellas not have this on their resume? So, it’s so tempting because we would love to go fight for the tag titles because that’s all we’ve ever been is a tag team.”

If Brie and Nikki come back, it would be a tremendous boost to the tag team scene. With the releases of Ruby Riott and Lana, the women’s tag titles become increasingly redundant. The Bella Twins returning would bring some shine back to those titles.

Brie Bella wants her children to see her wrestle

With both their parents professional wrestlers, Birdie and Buddy would definitely want to see them perform. However, the window on that is closing quickly as Daniel Bryan’s future is up in the air, but Brie seems confident.

“And I think another thing too, is now that Birdie’s 4, and we were talking about when the boys get a little older too, to have your kids watch you do what we used to do, to get in that ring would be really special for us. I’ll never forget the moment when I wrestled Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam, and to see her three little girls, they were little at the time, their faces when we came back, they looked at their mom like she was a superhero. And I was like, ‘I want that one day.'”

Having their children watch them wrestle would be an eternal reward for Nikki and Brie Bella. We hope that wish comes true for two icons of women’s wrestling.
