Matt Hardy recently claimed on Twitter that Vince McMahon insisted that the Hardy Boyz return to WWE in 2017. According to Matt, it was because of the howling success of the ‘Broken Hardy’ gimmick on TNA.

This tweet was in response to a string of Twitter wars between fans. One fan claimed that The Hardys were popular because of their time in TNA, while the other argues it was because of WWE. And all this started with another tweet that Matt put out.
