WWE Legend Booker T Admits Limits to Vince McMahon’s Friendly Boss Persona

Vince McMahon has been the WWE chairman for a long time. For so many years, he had come across several individuals. Thus, as a result, Vince McMahon has established several relationships with current and former WWE superstars.

Recently, WWE legend Booker T threw light on his current relationship with Vince. Speaking on The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T revealed he has Vince’s number from the day he first met him, but he never called Mr. McMahon.

Booker T said, “He [Vince McMahon] gave me his cellphone number when I first met him, and I have never used that number once. I say, ‘When Vince needs to talk to me, he will call me in the office, or he will give me a phone call.’ I am going to keep it that way.”

Further, he added, “I am going to always make sure I respect the boss, and hopefully, we have a friendly relationship. But as far as me ever looking at Vince McMahon solely as a friend, I will be totally making a big mistake.” (H/T: WrestlingInc)

Apart from competing in WWE, Booker T also entertained the fans by doing commentary. He has also been the SmackDown General Manager in the past.

Is Booker T in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Yes, Booker T is a WWE Hall of Famer. He got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice. First, he got inducted individually and then, as a member of the Harlem Heat.

Coming to Booker T’s title achievements in WWE, he won the WCW Championship once, World Heavyweight Championship once, WWE Intercontinental Championship once, WWE United States Championship thrice, and WWF Hardcore Championship twice.

But this is not all. In the tag team division, he is a three-time World Tag Team Champion and one-time WCW Tag Team Champion. Apart from the titles, he also won the King of the Ring in 2006.

Booker T is a WWE legend, and this is a secret to none. He also won titles in WCW and Impact Wrestling. Several fans even regard him as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time.
