Hulk Hogan was and is one of the most popular pro wrestlers ever. His charismatic nature and physique became one of the main factors behind his huge success in every company he was in. Hogan was a crowd drawer, and he became the face of WWF during the Golden era.

The 1980s and the early 90s saw Hogan as a driving force behind WWF/WWE’s success. The Golden era comprised several top wrestlers. Fans still fondly remember his bouts with The Ultimate Warrior, Andre the Giant, and Randy Savage. When Hulk Hogan left WWE and joined WCW, he became one of the top stars even there as well.

Recently, after the AEW All Out Media Scrum and CM Punk’s controversial comments, one Twitter user compared him with Hollywood Hogan.

The fan asked if CM Punk is currently having a Hollywood Hogan effect on the AEW roster. The fan further stated, that the work also felt mostly like a fan booking. The fan’s tweet can be found below.

Eric Bischoff was quick to reply. He said that, CM Punk is not having the Hogan effect on AEW. He further stated that, Hogan drew fans to their business, and helped it grow and earn money. Bischoff wrote, “Definitely not having the “Hogan effect”.

 Bischoff had also cleared during a podcast on AdFreeShows.com special edition of “83 Weeks”, that he has nothing CM Punk but has indeed lost some respect for him.

Kevin Owens has earned enough popularity from the fans. His character is both loved as a heel and as a baby face. The 38-year-old has a huge list of achievements, among which the biggest is main-eventing Night 1 of WrestleMania 38; a feat that CM Punk failed to achieve during his stint in WWE.

Recently, CM Punk erupted at the AEW Media scrum and blamed one-half of the ‘Young Bucks’ to be in contact with wrestlers outside of AEW. Punk also blamed Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks for spreading lies against him. Kevin Owens is friends with ‘Young Bucks’, and thus was quick to upload a picture on Twitter, supposedly taking a dig at CM Punk.

Kevin Owens posted a picture of him and Stone Cold Steve Austin, main-eventing WrestleMania 39. CM Punk always wanted to main-event a WrestleMania but was never given the opportunity to do so.
